At the start, each player receives an 11-card hand along with an additional 11-card pile known as the "foot." Collaboratively, players lay down cards on the table to create piles with matching card values. A collection of 7 or more cards forms a "canasta." Wild cards can be introduced into these piles, resulting in either "dirty canastas" or "clean canastas."
Upon playing all hand cards, players can access and continue playing from their foot pile. The game progresses until the minimum pile requirement is met: 4 "dirty canastas" and 3 "clean canastas." The first player to dispose of all surplus cards from their hand triggers the end of that particular hand. Each game consists of 5 progressively challenging hands.
Note that this game may not be suitable for devices smaller than a 9.7" iPad due to potential usability issues related to card size.
